Classifica CPU desktop
Il 2011 sta per finire e il nuovo anno porterà nuovi e più veloci processori Intel e AMD. AMD punterà alla serie FX, la più potente, arrivando ad otto core e una frequenza di 3,9 GHz. Intel invece punta sui modelli Sandy Bridge della famiglia i7 serie 3000 che arrivano a ben sei core e 3,3 GHz.
Nella classifica seguente il Core i3 2100 offre il miglior rapporto prezzo/prestazioni nella fascia media ed è molto contenuto in termini di surriscaldamento. Per coloro che vogliono ottenere ottime performance, due ottime possibilità: il Sandy Bridge Core i5 2500K o l’Intel Core i7 2600K.

Il chip con il miglior rapporto prezzo/prestazioni è Intel Core i7 2630QM, seguito a ruota dal Core i5 2520M. Consigliato anche la CPU Intel Core i7 2720QM, anche se il costo sale a 310 Euro circa.
